From 25th June to 1st July 2011, the Isle of Wight will play host to the NatWest Island Games, an international sporting event which will involve thousands of talented athletes from 25 islands around the world, challenging themselves and each other in the quest for victory in 14 sports. The NatWest Island Games are held every two years on different host Islands and for many of the competitors, the Games will pave the way towards participation in the Commonwealth Games and the Olympics.
